Shanahan Engineering is a world class Construction and Technical Field Service provider, operating successfully in the power and industrial sectors for over thirty (30) years. Today the company is now a part of John Wood Group Plc. and provides the group with a strong Field Service capability.

The Company operates two distinct service divisions:
1. Construction & Construction Management Services;
2. Technical Consultancy Field Services.

The Company has offices in Ireland, Japan, United Kingdom, Italy, Turkey and the United States. Since 1979 Shanahan Engineering has been involved in some of the largest power projects in the world with leading and cutting edge technology.

Shanahan Engineering’s core strengths are its technical knowledge of what it takes to install, commission and operate power plant equipment worldwide to the highest standards of safety, environmental management and quality. This knowledge base is documented in its procedures and processes that are tailored for the power and industrial industries. It strives, at all times, to introduce innovative solutions for its customers on the execution of their projects.

The Company has invested in its procedures for quality, welding and project controls. It boasts a full compliment of P.E.D. / A.S.M.E. qualified weld procedure specifications (WPS) and recently acquired the A.S.M.E. "A" and "PP" stamps for boiler repair and erection. The Company has also developed its own in-house tracking system for commercial management of complex projects.
